About Paul Shorrock

I've been mucking about in the mountains for longer than I care to mention. I started out by walking my local hills, then went on to rock climbing, mountaineering and skiing. Still doing it, and still getting a buzz. I'm now sharing the fun, through my guided walking business (Hillcraft Guided Walking) and by writing routes for other publishers, mainly Walking World and Discovery Walking Guides. Just to make sure I keep really busy, I am also currently a member of my local mountain rescue team.

#1 – Is the world ready for yet another blog?

Well, it had to happen. I’ve been dragged into the world of blog. The blog is mostly going to be about my mountain related activities, to keep my mates and Hillcraft customers (past, present and future) up to date with what I’m doing. Or not, as the case may be.

I’m aiming to post something on a weekly basis, and it will be short and to the point – I don’t want any of you falling asleep as you read! Continue reading
