#191 – Happy New Year for 2016

Mist:   Wooof! It must be that time of year again – the boss always gets this funny tree thing with lights and puts it IN THE HOUSE!   Can you imagine?!   A tree in the house!!  I just don’t get humans!  Anyway, while he’s busy playing with trees, and putting loads of paper round things he calles ‘presents’ and then ripping paper of similar things, I’m hijacking this blog.   I found this old photo from last year with the boss and the missus messing about – don’t know how he did it, but everyone is back to their normal size again.   As I said, I just don’t get humans!

Anyway, the two of them keep banging on about something called a new year – apparently it’s a good thing to have, so I hope you all enjoy one.   Woooof  wooof!!

About Paul Shorrock

I've been mucking about in the mountains for longer than I care to mention. I started out by walking my local hills, then went on to rock climbing, mountaineering and skiing. Still doing it, and still getting a buzz. I'm now sharing the fun, through my guided walking business (Hillcraft Guided Walking) and by writing routes for other publishers, mainly Walking World and Discovery Walking Guides. Just to make sure I keep really busy, I am also currently a member of my local mountain rescue team.

  5. Happy New Year to you too! And hopefully Paul, ‘have van might travel’ will actually manage to organise some time off for themselves in 2016!!

  6. LensScaper says:

Happy New Year to you too Paul and Chris. That put a smile on my face. Let’s hope a change of month changes the weather too. Not too much to ask for is it? My heart goes out to all those thousands up North who are flooded out – I trust you are OK where you are.
